Put milk of your choice in a pot, and bring to a boil. Stir in oats and simmer for 20 – 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, then serve.
Stir in a spoonful of syrup, jam, peanut butter, or chocolate spread. Top with nuts, seeds, dried fruit, chocolate chips or a sprinkling of cinnamon.
Porridge oats are also great for making oat milk.
