Heat three Tablespoons of oil in a heavy pan with a lid and cook on a medium to high heat. Once the oil is hot add popcorn kernels and stir gently. once the kernels begin to pop, cover with lid, and remove from heat once all the kernels have popped.
Coat in sweet or savoury herbs and sauces. For sweet popcorn, try sugar, maple syrup, butter, cinnamon and cocoa powder. For Savoury; mixed herbs, salt, turmeric, crushed chillies, paprika or sriracha sauce. Use leftovers as breadcrumbs, croutons, or in baking for a light and crunchy texture.
