Use two cups of water per one cup of rice. Place in a pan with a teaspoon of oil and bring to a boil. reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 45 minutes or until the rice is tender and the water has been absorbed.
Ideal for use in pilaf, tabbouleh, tagine, and rice bowls. Add to soups, chilli, or make rice and beans. Makes a delicious and healthy base for tofu, TVP, or tempeh marinated in miso, teriyaki or tikka sauce.
